Hello, everyone, I'am yolanda. There are three people in my family—my father, mother and I.
My father is 45 years old. He is a worker. I think he is a good worker. Because he works very hard. He gets up very early every day and he works for more than 10 hours a day. So he is always busy, he looks very tired when he gets home. He likes reading newspapers. He usually reads it after supper. So he gets lots of news.My mother is 45 years old. She is a worker too. She works in a very small factory. She is not tall and she has two big eyes. She loves me and she is good for me. She always buys some books for me. She wants me to be a top student. She also cares for my diet and life.I’ m 15 years old. I wear glasses. I like reading. I always read books after school. I like singing, too. My favorite singer is Jay Chou. His music is very nice. What do you think of him? I also like making friends. If you want to meet me, please write to me.Oh, my parents love me and I love them, too. My family is a happy family.

The way to keep healthy

It's important for us to be healthy all our life. We can't study or work well without healthy body. There're many ways to keep healthy. First of all, we should keep taking exercises every day. We can walk to school instead of taking a bus. After school, we can spend an hour playing ball games. If we live in a high-rise, we can walk upstairs or downstairs. Second, we should have a balanced diet. Finally, we must remember: "Early to bed, early to rise is the way to keep healthy, wealthy and wise."

Play

Play is an important part of life. Some people ever think that the purpose of life is play. Most Americans spend their holidays playing and more people come to believe that play is the lubricant of life. Open the newspaper, and you will see a great deal of news about movies, concerts, art exhibitions, television programs and all kinds of sport events. Indeed, if you will just step outside, you will see people heading for the park for picnic or taking their children to the zoo. During the weekend, life is play.

I love summer

It is true that summer is hot, very hot. But the wicked summer sun is nothing to me, for I don't usually go out. What I like to do best during the long summer vacation is to stay in my own little room and read. I love to read, but during the school year I could hardly find a free moment for reading. Endless assignments press down upon me like a mountain. I feel confined and imprisoned. Once the summer vacation comes, however, I have all the time in the world to read and read and read. I read everything I want to read. I read to my heart's content. My room maybe small, and the sun maybe hot, but I'm free, I'm happy, I'm really living! Oh, how I love summer!

My favorite animal

My favorite animals are swans.They are white.They can swim very well.I think they look like a beautiful girl in a white dress.They have a pair of wings and they can also fly well.I believe they are angles from the sky.They bring us love and make us happy.They are always friendly to us.We can't hurt them,because they are our friend.I love them!I like dogs,too.They are not beautiful,but they are the best friends.They keep the thieves away.Dogs have the best listening and eyes.They can hear in the nosiy,see in the dark.If we are in danger,they will help us at once.And they don't mind their lives.So,I love them .

Miss my home

I have arrived Leicester about 2 mouth from 10th January.I find I miss my home my father and mother so much. Sometimes I can see their photo.But I also miss their and I think I will more and more miss them. I don't know what should I do.In my opinion every international student will miss them prance.Would you like can you tell me your mind.

A delicious dinner

Today I have a delicious dinner. You can see I have 3 dishes and a soup. Of course these are not cooked by myself.They are cooked by a Chinese restaurant.That restaurant is the best one(just in my mind) in Leicester.This dinner's fee about 20 pounds.I think it is a litter expensive.But it is so delicious.So if I do not eat these food every day I also would happy .

Seven Pounds

Last weekend I with my friends went to watch a movie. The name of the movie is Seven Pounds. When I watched it beginning I could not understand the mean .Then I knew the mean 20 minute later. A man went to shched 4 people's adress and their life .Then found a way to knew them.He helped them which used diffefrent way and never requite from them.In the finaly of this movie protagonist killed himself .Donate his eyes ,heart ,home and all of his maney to these 4 people.

About a story

This story is from my story book.The name of this story is a dream.It tell us one day a man had a dream .In the dream will traveled to a place by car .He was driver and when he talk to his son suddenly there was a truck front of their car.He had step the brake as soon as possible.But accident had happen.His son and daughter had dead when ambulance came to.He sad very very much.Suddenly he waked up. This time he know that those things just a dream.

Cooking by my self

Next week I will begin cooking by me self.
I need buy many cooking tool,such as dish kife pan and so on.
That is don't matter.But I feel alone because cook by myself and eat by myself.
Before next week I always cook and eat with my frieds.We are feeling happy.
So I hope I can habituate oneself to do that.

A Good Communication

"Communication is the process whereby information is imparted by a sender to a receiver via a medium.”Communication is one of method about exchange information. It is usual in our life. Good communication can helped get important information. Listening and speaking are significant role in communication. In different culture there are some communication breakdowns. But it can not prevent people to understand meaning of other people. Most of time communication is soundless. Such as talk to deaf people, at diving and so on. This time we need use other way to communication. Body language, facial expression and eye contact are more useful in soundless environment.
In the other hand many situation will interrupt communication. Barriers are usual appear in our life. For example a noisy environment, a place of many people or an incoming telephone can stop communication. These different situations are mail reason to interrupt communication.

New Phone

Today afternoon I bought a phone after I with my best friend after school. So I feel very happy. It low end slide mobile phone which small, exquiste and practical.
It takes me 39 pound. Because of The interface use English so I cannot use it convenient for the phone, but I believe I can learn English well and hard work. I trust me. In the future I can learn English as good as Chinese.

Wilfred Thesiger

Wilfred Thesiger was born in 1911.He mudded building in Addis Ababa. His father was a diplomat. When he 3years old he learnt to ride and interested in hunting at 4 years old. Then he studied in England school, this time he 8 years old.15 years later he found source of Awash River in Abyssinia. Then he went to Tibesti Mountains of Chad hunting period exploration. He took part in world War Ⅱin Africa. Then he went to Syria with Druse horsemen. In 1950s he traversed in Pakistan and Afghanistan. During this way he took photos and kept a diary. Recently he published a book about this experience. In his senectitude he returned to England from Kega. Since he lived in nursing home near London he had many operations on his eyes but he was still strong. His life was amazing. He ever crossed the Empty Quarter of Arabian desert and lived with marsh Arabs in southern Iraq. Finally he published many books. In all time of is life he never married, never wanted children but never regretted about that.

Renewable energy

Renewable energy is energy that from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain and geothermal heat. I want to argue for geothermal advantage more than disadvantage. [1]“Geothermal energy is generated in the earth's core, about 4,000 miles below the surface. Temperatures hotter than the sun's surface are continuously produced inside the earth by the slow decay of radioactive particles, a process that happens in all rocks.” Geothermal energy is renewable energy and a common energy. It is heat from inside the earth. There are several things that from the earth's surface were influence by geothermal energy.
Some people claim that it can affect life and works. The most terrible is geothermal sometimes will take people’s life. When geothermal energy is not released through some dissimilar of way it will changes volcanic eruptions or earthquake. People’s life, work and many things will be affecting.
But most of people set up a different argument about geothermal advantage more than disadvantage. It is my opinion. [2]“Geothermal heat has been used to heat homes and businesses on a commercial scale since the 1920s.”Geothermal energy is very useful. In sometimes people take advantage of naturally geothermal heat to build hot springs bathing. The hot water or steam is used to electrical generators. At the same time it can provide heat through heater with domicile.
Finally geothermal energy is usual in our life. It gives people bring many benefits and also some disadvantages. However the advantage is more than disadvantage.

My last weekend

Last weekend I went to Birmingham where is a beautiful city with my friend. We arrived Birmingham New station at 11 o'clock.We went shopping in city center which there were many different kinds of things. In there we saw a lot of couple. Rad rose and chocolate staied in their hands.That was very romantic.We bought a lot of food from there.Then we back to Leicester at 20 o'clock.

The Story about Three Wishes

Once upon a time,there was a man called Christy. Christy lived in the countryside and he was a hard-working farmer.He worked hard every day for 30 years but he never had any more money than the coins that he had in his pocket.One day,Christy was working on his small farm,when suddenly he saw something moving in the long gress. Christy was brave but he was not stupid, so he walked forward slowly. He looked into the long gress. And he saw a tiny little man who was wearing a green hat.The little man said,"please don't kill me". Christy was scared so he lifted his fist."If you don't kill me, i'll give you 3 wishes",said the little man.Christy thought long and hard.
Suddenly,he said that i wantd to became handsome and rich. This is my first wish. I did not known what should i wanted now . If i had another one. I will find you.
In other day. He come back and said i wanted to lived in a beautiful castle. The tiny little said that's right. I will kept your last wish. Christy drinked and bet every day. He do everything that he never done it. Few days later. He thought that's life unsiteable with him. He back to the little man and he said i wanted my life which saw you before. fanilly he finished his three wishes.

A adrenalin time

When I was 13 years old. I tried to dive. I scared to jumped from 5meter to pool. It happend in a natatorium. My father went with me. He said that you were a brave girl didn't scare with it ,you could break down this scare. Then I felt that I got more encourage.I told myself I could do it. In this time I jumped in the pool. I was very happy because I was success.After that I always reminded my father's encouragement.

A happy day

Today is Monday Feb.2. It have a very big snow .All the street have become white .The white Leicester is very beautiful. Because the snow we have no class today.We are exciting about it .In the afternoon I went to take photo.

My Free Time

For a girl if I have spare time I will choose shopping first. I believe most of girl also like shipping. Girls are beauty since they born. we like beautiful things and use these things to dress up themselves. Sometimes we don’t buy any thing. we just want to try or to enjoy these things. So you are not surprised about it.
When we finish shopping maybe they are tired, this time we will choose a place can have a rest. Theatre is the best chose. This is why there are more and more new theatre opening. It also have many people choose there although the ticket is expensive. Actually theatre is the best place for couple.Music is around all the time, not only spare time. It can help us relax happy and calm. So we can see many people listen music at street bus and so on.

MOBILE PHONE

After school I went to Highcross with my friends.
I found a mobile phne that I like it very much.
It is Sony Ericsson T303 .It has two colours,pink and sliver.
I like the pink one,because it is my favourite colour.
It just have 93g and so small.But I can't get it today.
Because it have no this phone in Oranga Shop.
So I will get it at next week.I am wating．．．

Our festival

Yesterday was the most famous festival in china. It called spring festival. This festival is the most important in china. Usually family get together. But in UK I with my good friends cooked together and we were very busy. Although we were tired ,we were exciting and happy.

SNOW

At 9.21I looked snow in Leicester today .Although it was small, it's so exciting for me .Because I live in city that there are no snow in China.Until now I just look snow 2 times in my city.Now there are no snow out of the window but in my opinion today is a lucky day.

About study English

English is international language in the word.Also It is one of the most popular language.When we as children we learning English everyday.Now it is necessary in my life. Because it is one of the life skills.I use it anytime. For example when I go shopping,go to bank ,study my course and so on.So I study English strive now and I believe I can learn it well then use it in my learning,working and help other people.
